El embalse del Neusa es una fuente de abastecimiento para consumo humano en los acueductos de Cogua y Zipaquirá. Cumple la función de controlar las inundaciones en la sabana de Bogotá mediante el control de los caudales máximos en la cuenca del río Neusa y regularlos durante la temporada seca. El embalse es conocido por el servicio que presta a Cundinamarca y también por el turismo que genera el parque.
El parque del embalse del Neusa está ubicado a una altura de 3000 msnm con temperaturas promedio de 10 ºC, esta área presenta dos periodos de invierno, la primera en los meses de abril, mayo y junio y la segunda en los meses de octubre y noviembre .
Dentro del área del parque se desarrollan ambientes especiales para el hábitat de diferentes especies de fauna entre las que se pueden encontrar borugo, y diferentes especies de animales silvestres, además del gran cultivo de truchas que se pueden pescar.
The Neusa reservoir is a source of supply for human consumption in the Cogua and Zipaquirá aqueducts. It fulfills the function of controlling floods in the Bogotá savanna by controlling the maximum flows in the Neusa river basin and regulating them during the dry season. The reservoir is known for the service it provides to Cundinamarca and also for the tourism generated by the park. The Neusa reservoir park is located at an altitude of 3000 meters above sea level with average temperatures of 10 ºC, this area has two winter periods, the first in the months of April, May and June and the second in the months of October and November . Within the park area, special environments are developed for the habitat of different species of fauna, among which you can find borugo, and different species of wild animals, in addition to the large culture of trout that can be fished.

Tu mascota es bienvenida en nuestros parques EXCEPTO en el parque Laguna Cacique Guatavita, donde NO está permitido el ingreso de ningún tipo de mascota.

¿Existe algún tipo de descuento para grupos familiares o empresariales? / Is there any type of discount for family or business groups?
Podrás adquirir un descuento especial, únicamente entre semana (de martes a viernes) si el grupo es mayor a 26 personas. Los fines de semana no se aplican taifas preferenciales.
You can acquire a special discount, only during the week (Tuesday to Friday) if the group is larger than 26 people. On weekends, preferential rates do not apply.
¿Puedo alquilar la carpa en el parque? / Can I rent the tent in the park?
No. Únicamente podemos alquilarte el espacio para que instales tu carpa.

¿Puedo reservar parrillas o kioskos para asados? / Can I reserve barbecue grills or kiosks?
No contamos con sistema de reserva de kioskos o parrillas en ninguno de nuestros parques. Puedes alquilar estos elementos a tu llegada al parque, en taquilla. Te recomendamos llegar con tiempo suficiente, especialmente los fines de semana cuando hay mayor afluencia de visitantes.
We do not have a kiosk or grill reservation system in any of our parks. You can rent these items upon arrival at the park, at the box office. We recommend that you arrive with enough time, especially on weekends when there is a greater influx of visitors.
