Cerro del Púlpito

El subir al cerro del Púlpito en el municipio de Cogua Cundinamarca es toda una experiencia de vida; el caminar a través del bosque alto andino, sentir la suavidad de los colchones de diferentes musgos, la inmensidad de sus árboles nativos como el gaque cucharo, el ensenillo, el siete cueros y salir de este ecosistema y entrar al páramo, admirar los frailejones que son plantas llamadas fábricas de agua, por su gran capacidad de almacenarla y regularla, al llegar al cerro del Púlpito divisar todo el bello paisaje que lo rodea, como el embalse del Neusa, el altiplano Cundiboyacense, los pueblos de Cogua, Zipaquirá y Nemocón.

Climbing the Cerro del Púlpito in the municipality of Cogua Cundinamarca is a whole life experience; walking through the high Andean forest, feeling the softness of the mattresses of different mosses, the immensity of its native trees such as the gaque cúcharo, the ensenillo, the siete cueros and leaving this ecosystem and entering the moor, admiring the frailejones which are called the water factory plants, due to their great capacity to store and regulate it, when arriving at Cerro del Púlpito you can see all the beautiful landscape that surrounds it, such as the Neusa reservoir, the Cundiboyacense plateau, the towns of Cogua, Zipaquirá and Nemocón.
